On October 16th I went with some friends on a trip to Iceland for 8 days, to chase the northern lights.
Now you may read about Iceland on forums, see some photos on the net. But none of it will have any meaning until you actually visit and see it for yourself. There is something extraordinary about that country, the views! the black sand beaches, the frozen lava, the waterfalls, the geysers, the glaciers, the volcanoes, the dancing Auroras at night!
It’s like the whole island is alive breathing, the rivers are its veins and the volcanoes are the valves of its heart.
This is a short movie about my trip to the south part of Iceland
You may also check the photo albums in the link below:
-Samyang 12mm f/2.8
-Canon 24-105mm f/4L
-Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8
-GoPro 4 Black (only for few shots that couldn’t be done with my DSLR)
All was filmed handheld except for the timelapses, used a Vanguard Espod 203AP tripod.
Thanks For watching!
